Resources for Young People

Ticket to Work supports young people with disability to prepare for the world of work. There is support available for young people to find an after school job, apprenticeship or traineeship. There are some really exciting opportunities available and the person will be supported to find employment or training to match their interests.

An after school job, apprenticeship or traineeship are a great way to learn new skills, make friends and earn some extra money. It helps people find out what they like doing, build confidence and go on to pursue a career. These people are more likely to experience the wellbeing benefits and increased quality of life that comes with employment, especially when it is a job that they love.

Completing year 12 and entering into work or training can be daunting.
